We want your ceremony to feel meaningful, personal, and easy from beginning to end. Here are answers to some of the questions couples ask most often.

What types of ceremonies do you officiate?

I officiate weddings, elopements, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies. Ceremonies may be Christian, civil, or non-religious, with options ranging from a simple traditional ceremony to a more personalized experience.

Can we chose or personalize our ceremony script?

Yes. Ceremony script options and customization vary depending on the officiating service you select. Some options include a choice of thoughtfully prepared ceremony scripts, while our more personalized services allow you to customize elements such as vows, readings, special wording, and meaningful details that reflect you as a couple.

Do you officiate small weddings and elopements?

Absolutely. Intimate weddings and elopements are welcome. Whether it’s simply the two of you or you’re surrounded by family and friends, your ceremony deserves to feel meaningful and special.

Do you travel to our ceremony location?

Yes. I officiate ceremonies throughout Hot Springs and the surrounding area and can come to your venue, rental property, outdoor location, or other approved ceremony location.

Ceremonies within Hot Springs are included in the listed pricing. Locations outside of Hot Springs may require an additional travel fee based on distance. Please include your ceremony location when contacting me, and any applicable travel fee will be provided before booking.

How do we reserve our ceremony date and time?

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your ceremony date and time. The remaining balance is due upon arrival on the day of your ceremony.

Your date and time are not reserved until your deposit has been received.

What about last-minute or same-day ceremonies?

Last-minute and same-day ceremonies may be available depending on my schedule. When a ceremony is booked on short notice, full payment may be made upon arrival if arranged in advance.

If paying in cash, full payment must be received before the ceremony begins and before the marriage license is completed and signed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment may be made through Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay, or cash. Payment instructions will be provided when your ceremony is booked.

Is the booking deposit refundable?

The 50% booking deposit reserves your ceremony date and time and is non-refundable. If an unexpected situation requires you to change your plans, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss available options.

Do we need a marriage license before the ceremony?

Yes. If you are having a legal marriage ceremony, you are responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license before the ceremony. Please bring your marriage license with you so the required officiant portion can be completed and signed following your ceremony.

Can we write our own vows?

Absolutely. If you would like to exchange personal vows, you are welcome to do so. Depending on the ceremony service you select, additional customization and personalized ceremony elements may also be available.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you know your date, I recommend reaching out. Weekends and popular wedding dates may book in advance, but last-minute and same-day ceremonies may also be available. It never hurts to ask!

What happens after we book?

Once your deposit has been received and your date is reserved, we’ll go over the details of your ceremony, including the date, time, location, ceremony style, and the options included with the service you selected.

My goal is to make the process simple and comfortable so you can focus on enjoying your day.

How do we check availability?

Simply complete the contact form with your ceremony date, time, location, and a few details about what you’re planning. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
